SHANNON’S STORY
“I was working at a local restaurant during the summer of 2013, when my father came in to pay me his weekly visit and to have dinner. He looked at me and asked “Where can you buy a good lobster roll in Boothbay Harbor? And so, Shannon’s Unshelled was born!
Our goal, then and now, is to make the best lobster roll we can. We use a whole locally caught, fresh unshelled lobster, served on a perfectly grilled buttered bun with drawn garlic sea-salted butter. Over the past 8 years, our menu and little shack have grown - but our dedication to quality and supporting our local fishing community remains unchanged.
We hope to provide customers with an undeniable Maine experience. The freshest local ingredients, prepared from scratch in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking Boothbay Harbor’s historic Footbridge.”
